Horizon Hawks Sports
All of us in Hawk athletics are excited as we enter our 3rd year of existence and our 2nd year in the West Valley League.
Our enrollment has grown to over 100 High School students but we are still by far the smallest High School Competing at the 3A level in the O.S.A.A.
God blessed us with a miracle year last year as we competed very well in all sports. We fell just 1 game short of the playoffs in soccer, football and softball. Our boys basketball team went 17-1 in the West Vallye League to win district and then lost in the state final game to finish 2nd in state at the 3A level. We are anticipating another tremendous year in 2008.
Our thanks go out to God and to our fantastic Boosters. Last year they gave over $150,000 to support our programs. This year we are playing on our own field "under the lights" thanks to donations of $140,000 to install lights on "hawk field".
I would like to thank our parents, athletes and coaches for their commitment and dedication to the vision and values of Horizon Christian High School where we say "A Champions Heart is a Christ-Like Heart".
